Although he is wrong about the AmazonBasics not being able to give 100W to a single port -- the description explicitly says it can. Having said that, 100W USB-C chargers in the $30 range are a dime a dozen. I also have these two:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFRJHKWJ/ (Geekera, $32, has permanently attached AC Cord)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07THC5DJV/ (KeyPower, $38, has replaceable AC cord, most flexible charging port power allocation)

both of which work fine. The KeyPower is more flexable about allocating power (both C-ports are up to 100W), and its logic for reallocating power is better (it only does it if you plug in a second device, the geekera does it EVERY time even a single device in ... both briefly disconnect the charging device during the allocation process), but the geekera has more USB-C ports, which is why I got it. Both of those also have AC cords and don't directly hang off the outlet, which is a bonus in my book.

The Amazon one has the benefit of saying 'Amazon' on the side, which means it's probably not going to melt, but I haven't had trouble with my chinagarbage ones (yet). Other than that it's the worst -- only one port supports 100W (same as Geekera), but NONE of the USB-A ports support QC (ALL of the other adapters I've linked can do QC on the USB A ports). If two C ports is enough and you like the AC cord, I'd go with the Keypower. I've had mine for years, bought a second one, and never had any problems with it. I like that I don't need to pay attention to which C port I plug my laptop into, which is the main reason I'd recommend it.

In the next step up (150W), I also have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RXX1B3H, which is nice because it can charge a laptop (PD) and phone (PPS) at the same time with no reduction in power allocation to either. 150W chargers are also becoming pretty common, so shop around. Pay attention to the capabilities of the individual ports. MANY of the cheap high-wattage chargers can't do the power allocation trick and allocate fixed amounts to each port (eg, 50Wx4=200W), which is a hard no for me.
Did you read it? It says USB-C Port1 can do 65-100 watts, assuming no other ports are in use.
No 12V output, sadly. I have some specific devices that I've modded to work with 12V. Otherwise a great deal for one high-power port and three low-power convenience ports.

can be used on steam deck?

Does steam deck charge via USBC? I think you can answer that one yourself.

In case this helps anyone, I have that Monoprice charger with a similar configuration and form factor, and while it works pretty well, it takes up a lot of space on an outlet and is heavy enough that I'm always worried about it falling off the wall. I use it mainly as a travel charger and it can be pretty unwieldy. I'm really eyeing these other chargers people are linking that have extension cables so the bulk of it can just sit on the floor or table...

I have this one (bought for $32.49). It regularly is on sale... Was $35 last week. Only con is that it's a wall wart.

These stick too far out to hide behind furniture. I wish they could be rotated 90 degrees.

FWIW M2 MacBook Air can accept 140W chargers, but its charging speed is capped at 67W. I tried a LDNIO charger with USB C -> MagSafe, but found that plugging anything else in would cause the MacBook to stop charging. I figure it's the 'smart' power switching on the charger that causes the MagSafe to break the circuit and protect the battery because the only way around it was to re-patch the USB C side to reset the connection.

If you are planning to use a 3rd party hub with MagSafe, I would advise against any charger that dynamically switches current. I went with an Anaholla 155W hub because it is detached from the wall, has 6 ports, and I don't need over 65W. It has more ports, more total W, and is currently (pun intended) only $2 more than this front page deal. I can't post a link because mods took down my last post.

Buy a box of 1ft extension cables. They're a game changer. All those devices with wall warts that block other outlets are no problem.

Thanks for posting. Bought this two weeks ago for $10 more. Because of Amazon's lack of price matching, I bought this one and will return the other one.

Thanks for sharing. I am no expert on these and have seen many manufacturers, brands, etc. Knowing manufacturer is a big deal for me, and for anything like this that I tend to leave plugged into a wall, I wanted too be UL or at least ETL certified. I can't seem to find this info on the link you provided, can you see these markings on the device you own? tnx

It's UL-listed according to the youtube video review posted earlier in the thread. You can see the marking on the device itself.

Heya, tnx for the reply. I did watched the YT but that is for the product posted (the Amazon Basics) and not the one the other poster shared:

Anyone know if this is safe for charging Xbox Elite Seies 2 controllers? The cable they come with is a usb a to usb c and if I use this with a c to c and 100w I am wondering if that is too much power for the controller. If anyone has any experience with this or similar adapters any help would be awesome.

I've bought this charger about a month ago. For some reason this charger won't support ultra fast charging on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Monoprice has an exact same looking charger as this one, thinking that it's going to be different. Nope... Maybe it's a good idea to pass this deal?

In case anyone's considering the chargers recommended here, I was looking into getting one (I really like the design of a separate cord going into the wall instead of a big brick) but saw that none of them are UL-certified. With such high power draw and the propensity for these to get extremely hot, I'd rather not take my chances.

Edit: Actually I just saw that they are ETL certified so that might be fine.
