Come on. Do not add pre-conditions to earn more. We are talking about no pre-conditions to earn 2% cash back on everything purchase and you just can't find the card to earn more. If you like conditions such as annual fee, member to open a bank account etc, that is a different thing. People may not like those conditions.

Just got two cards (1 for myself and 1 for spouse) and used for purchasing an iPhone for the boy's birthday.
Is WF reward same with Chase? Can you redeem the rewards to the bill?
Yes, You can redeem the rewards to pay towards the balance on your bill.
The process will take about 3-5 days to reflect.

This is a good card with a solid straightforward Cashback and better benefits than Citi double cash. It was my daily driver until i switched to alliant credit union.
Looking into Alliant now. 2.5% and with a credit union and no foreign transaction fees should the need arise.
First time trying to use 0 % APR. I did make a big purchase. I do not have to pay any other fee for 0% APR as long as I pay min payments every month and pay the balance with in that 0% period. Please correct me if my understanding is not correct. TIA

Can you use this card immediately before you receive the card in the mail.after you get approved?
Totally happy with WF cards. The wife and I each have Active Cash and Autograph cards. Sign up bonuses were paid to us properly. And as an added plus, they now do not make us wait to get $25 in rewards before being able to redeem them.
My credit score is like 810 and they want me to mail them pay stubs? So strange, never had any cc or bank acc ever ask for that. I have 0 in past due bills too.

Me too... honestly, don't get this card. I had a 826 credit score and it's literally dropped to 719 because of just getting and using this card a little bit in the past month and a half.
I have a long and good credit history with nothing negative anywhere in it and no missed payments ever in 22 years and another card that I've had open for 20+ years. My income is very high too, and they only gave me a $2500 credit limit, so my credit utilization is always going to be fairly high with this card since i use it to pay many of my monthly bills. I'm currently at 46% of that credit limit utilized on my new card.
Losing almost 110 points on my credit score by applying for a new credit card and using it for a month is freaking absurd.
I was talking to my brother the other day too and he said that he applied for this card about a year ago and they did an immediate hard pull on his credit, then 2 weeks later told him they needed him to send in a pay stub. He sent them the pay stub and they never responded and eventually just dropped his application (not denied, just basically just let the application expire with no action on their behalf). His credit score took a hit and he never even got evaluated for the card.... that's pure BS.
Plus the way that they make you send in your pay stub is very antiquated. They only accept a fax of it, or physically mailing them a copy. They also apparently are known to decline a bunch of people's applications if anything in the pay stub is not that legible, or whited/blotted out. They should have a mechanism of uploading an image through an SSL-secured webpage that is associated with your application that way both parties get confirmation of the successful transfer of data.
Overall Wells Fargo is also a shady organization based on other things I've read.
