Gigabyte triple fan version is also $200. Good price.

The Gigabyte version has 1 more HDMI port and 1 less DP. It's also less tall , but longer.

Decent deal.
Too bad, AMD card is not well supported for some old workstation (Dell T3600 etc.)
What's the issue? The PCIe3 bandwidth? Maybe an older generation x16 card like the 5700 is better suited then.

I would recommend going to zotac refurbished GPU site. You can find rtx 2000 series cards in there for really good prices that will be perfect for that

Tbh I'd just get an old GTX 1080 (non-TI) for half the price. It performs just as well as this 6600 and 10-15% better than a 2060.

What's crazy is that a nearly 8yr old 1080TI is on par with a new 6700XT. NVIDIA really unleashed a beast with that one, but… that was a different era. Sad

Well buying used in your back yard compared to buying from an official company with a warranty and return policy are two different ways of shopping and buying used may not be someone's choice so that's why I mentioned that option. There's a 2070 super for 240$ and a rtx 2060 on there for 170$ on the zotac refurbished website that makes a nice option compared to buying used or new especially for the older platforms that run pci gen 3

6600xt vs 1080ti is trading blows back and forth. the 6700xt beats the 1080ti by about 10-20%. Based on multiple youtube videos of in game play.

I agree, 90days warranty is better than nothing. The quoted OP did mention a Dell T3600, which are generally sub-$100 workstations. A used 1080 (non-TI) can often be found for $75-ish, keeping overall costs to a minimum.

Could you share where I could find 1080 at around $75?

Right now the cheapest GTX 1080 on eBay is a little over 100$.

In my area people are still asking astronomical prices for used GPUs 😒

True, used prices can definitely vary by region. At least here in Boston, I think they've normalized for the most part. (There's also a MicroCenter nearby and a HUGE population of transient college students).

I've been really fortunate finding great deals for used components on Facebook Marketplace, Local Pickup within a 10-15mile radius. Yes, there's always a risk buying used electronics but I haven't come across any lemons thus far.

That eBay price sounds about right, though since eBay's cut is 13.5%, I believe. Plus you gotta pay tax, and sometimes shipping. But you do get Buyers Protection, which can be handy.

The RX 6600 isn't really compatible to PCIe 3.0?

PCIe3, e4 has minimum impact. As soon as AMD driver installed, it's black screenEEK! NVIDIA is just fine. using a 2060 12GB now.
