always covered and under a patio. It was great when I used it, don't expect it to last more than 5 years

I've had this grill since 2014 and have zero issues. I have done everything from an overnight brisket to chicken legs even baking a cake. This grill holds temperature extremely well and for this price it is more than worth it. My top vent was gunked up so I took it off and cleaned it three times maybe, the wooden handle started cracking but I just wrapped baseball bat rubber around it and it's good as new. All I have done as far as repairs is replace the grate once because I broke a corner piece off. I leave it on my patio uncovered. Minor rust issues a few years ago but I cleaned it up in under an hour. I keep telling myself I'm going to replace the gasket seal but I haven't and it works perfectly fine despite a tiny leak. There are also various mods and maintenance tips than can be found online.
I bought mine on clearance at lowes for like $150 nine years ago and I've had it longer than my oldest son and haven't really taken care of it as I should. Anybody that says this isn't a solid deal for this grill is talking out of their ass. People have paid $200+ for grills that rust through and don't seal in the heat even a quarter as well as this.
This is a pretty decent deal for a 20" ceramic. It will fit 2 pork shoulders or a full size brisket no problem. I like the fact that a load of charcoal will last nearly an entire day in these things.

it does run hot - its hard to keep at 225 it likes to run 260-275.
great for Poultry.
It has a digital thermostat to control the temperature. It won't light it, but it should maintain it. It does require power (but there are mods to use a battery if you're so inclined). It comes with an indirect heating "stone", but it's made of stainless steel.
If for some reason the electronics die, I believe you can replace the bottom ashtray with the one from the standard model and that should let you continue using it.
Oh. The top vents out to the side instead of upwards. This prevents water from getting in.
You can also put a 17 inch grill rack from a Weber grill into this thing. This allows for better two zone cooking.
it is very effecient for burning, way better then my masterbuilt 560
I do have the ceramic plate accessory and the heat is pretty even.
the built in one is not accurate and failed pretty quick but that didnt bug me since i use the probes.
