I really like Gamers Nexus for gpu and cpu reviews. Their take is that the 7900xt isn't much better than the 6950xt for most gaming, especially in the 1% and 0.1% lows (which is when you'd see stuttering and frame drops). But depending on your use case or other variables (power consumption, price/budget), you might still want the 7900xt.
