All-time low real price, as the original $849 in the fall was $949 with a $100 rebate card. Amazon now matches the BB sale price, of course.
edit: I did a search for last year's model to see the price trajectory. The 65" U8G hit $850 at the start of June, just like here. It then reappeared in July at $800 at both BB and Amazon. Finally, it had a last hurrah on Black Friday weekend at Newegg for $612.
So... if you can wait a month or two you may see $50 lower, but it don't expect wide availability at a price lower than that.
I only recently moved up from a 32" tv I owned for 10 years. No need for UK8. This one, which ratings.com identified as best low-mid range TV in 2023, will be just fine.

Some folks including me were able to get BB to price match new unit with MC refurb. Took several tries for others, but only once for me. Huge YMMV, however, your perseverance may pay off.
