Get your new phone up and running first. Look for any issues for a week.
Do a factory reset on your old phone. take a picture of the screen with your new phone to show no issues of front and back while on. In case Samsung employee tries to pull a fast one on you.
Turn your old phone off and wrap it up. You can dop off at any Fedex drop off location or find a Dollar General store. They will scan the package and send a receipt notice via text to your phone. Samsung will receive a couple business days later and let you know they receive. Few more days until they get a chance to review and ok the trade-in.

No because when I got mine it wouldn't work properly on the website so had to get refunded the 100 to make it 149.99
Yep. Same boat here. Dropped to $350, now it is $450. I guess it will never go back, so still placed the order. A bit frustrated through.

Hard to say. The online rep told me it may go lower and lower.
So because it was last year this was for a new s22 variant and the s21 was the previous year model , so trading in an s21 for an s22 then was like trading in an s22 for an s23 now
I know we are talking about N20U but I still think deals will still roll in this year, its all marketing - though yeah, this is probably the year to get rid of the n20u for a decent TIV
Here is one example thread (and yes they were good towards s22s too, not just Fold)

Crap, I just looked at the start date of that thread and it was August 10, 2022...... so we may see some good deals soon if history repeats itself - I think I did my deal late fall

Note 20 Ultra has a trade in value of $600 for a lone while, then it dropped to $300 about 10 days ago, and now increases to $450. After thinking twice, I pulled the trigger and still did the trade in for S23U. It seems like other Samsung phones have "normal to good" trade-in values. For example, S22+ used to have a lower trade-in value, but now it is worth $600 for S23U. โI feel like such a value drop happens to Note 20 Ultra only . It is a good phone but has been a while.
If either Samsung or BB offers more generous trade-in values in early August, I guess i could just return and restart it.
