The inflator is very impressive for a small battery powered tool. I have a 20 gallon compressor and never use it for tires anymore. Between the noise, running the hose out to the car and holding the end on the valve stem whole inflating, it's not worth the hassle. This inflator is quick and easy, at the psi and walk a away.

Here's a tip, add quick release to the end. Huge improvement over the screw on end.

THis doesnt ONLY run on 20v batteries. It can also run on 12v (cig lighter plug) or AC power: https://m.media-amazon.com/images...X970__.jpg
That inflator is amazing. I use it all the time. Bike tires, car tires, kids floaties. Thing rules if you're in the DeWalt battery ecosystem already.

Only knock is that it doesn't really have the nuts to quickly inflate giant inflatables like kiddie pools or big slip and slide things... a basic leaf blower works best for those tbh.

Good catch! I revised the OP, didn't notice unbundled they were the same price, my mistake. The Impact Driver w/ 2 Batteries I linked is actually $0.99 lower than the 1 Battery variant too.

I have most of Dewalt's 20v line, and this is my favorite tool. Definitely worth getting when a deal arises.

Probably not a great idea to leave one of these including battery in your car? Best to get a 12V inflator for that?

Just remember AC adapter sold separately and fairly expensive at $45.

I have the inflator and love it. The inflator is great for either high pressure OR high volume. The one limitation I've found is that it's not a great solution for the combination of high pressure AND high volume. So getting paddleboards to 15psi will take an inordinate amount of time, and routinely airing back up a set of 4 large off-road tires after off-roading will be time consuming.

WHy?

Keep on in ly pickup with charged battery all the time. Used it plenty an most of the time for others needing help. The great part is if the battery is dead there are other ways to power it.

Not bad at all with the add-ons. I'm pretty sure I paid more for just the inflator a couple months ago from the Home Depot. I was on the road, and I couldn't find a free pump, or any working air-pump. It works fine on 12-volt (I didn't have any batteries with me), and it doesn't take much room in the trunk. I love the dial a number function- set your PSIs and it'll basically do the rest for you.

I have both; they are pretty much the same; I have more dewalt tools/batteries so that's why I got the DeWalt one last time it was on sale.

I've had both. I sold the Ryobi. Ofcourse the DeWALT is better quality. 1 thing I remember is something as small as the knurl that screws onto the valve being allot better on the DeWalt.

What is the price point of the Ryobi? I can't remember.
