The seat is very adjustable. I'm 6'0 with long legs and I sit at the highest seat setting, but I don't think it'd really work for people taller than that.
We've had ours since January, I've lost 60+lb riding 10 miles a day since then.(usually riding 20mph average at a 20 resistance setting)
For $300(which this bike is usually $450) is a no brainer.
6ft tall male, I think this bike would be fine for anyone up to maybe 6'3. Beyond that I'm unsure but it does have quite a bit of adjustment.
You don't need to purchase the subscription. I bought this last time it was on sale. Never paid for the subscription service, and the bike works great.
but this walmart one - as you say - regularly sitting at $297 - seems about as cheap as they go and is new.
question I have is whether it is better to get a refurb of a 'better' model EX3 or EX5? for not much more $....
Also, can you mod the displays of all models, or is it just the walmart one that is hackable (as detailed in various SD threads on this model in the last few months)

I like both bikes equally. The ex5s has a better seat but it's tension is slow to translate as there's a lag between when you turn the handle and the tension changing. The sport s does not have that issue.

It comes with a 10" tablet which you can mount on the front of the bike.

That's awesome! Congrats on the weight loss. I bought this same bike a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't noticed any tapping noise. But I have only used it a few times.
