I got this one since I have a non pro in one place I want to swap out.

I've heard nothing but heachaches from the newer wifi 6 models so never upgraded. This one has been pretty reliable

I already have a Google nest Wifi at home, I don't want to spend too much and upgrade now as its fine but now that we've moved into a 2 story house and the router is in the basement, it doesn't reach the 2nd floor.
Would it make sense to mix brands or should I just shell out $150 for the 3 pack?

I don't think you can use Eero to wirelessly extend an existing Nest wifi network. Just get another Nest unit to extend to the 2nd floor.

Really high quality tri-band router that's been around for a while. Still getting firmware updates. I bought this for $35 a few months ago and it's been reliable for me. Can't beat it for the price.

If you have nest wifi, why don't you just buy another mesh puck and install it on your main level which will then cover your entire upstairs, because, umm, that is how mesh routers work.It will take you about 4 minutes to setup the new puck.
