When I bought it in 11/20, it was $199.95.

I paid $99 for it as a Black Friday sale back then.

One of the best bang for the buck headphones I've ever heard -- even at the $100 price point. I'm a bass head, so it wasn't for me, but I had no problem selling it almost immediately (used for ~1 hour) for my cost on an A/V gear site.

The 3.5mm wire comes with an in-line mic. Quality might not be up to your requirements but it has one.

If you like Open Backs these are the ones. These are the only headphones I can wear for 4+ hours at a time

Edit: what I posted earlier was a mistake.

These are excellent headphones that sound good even without an amp. They do sound better with an amp of course but decent motherboards and receivers can drive them fairly well. A phone with a 1/8th jack can drive them but not loudly. At least that has been my experience. I have the Mass Drop 6XXs as well. The 6XXs need an amp but with an amp they sound awesome and are definitely an upgrade from the 599s. With that said the 599s are an excellent open back headphone for the money.

Wow! I made a mistake. I am glad you posted this question. I now realize the deal yesterday was for the 559s not the 599s. I just cancelled my order.

I have these and they are great. Very comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. I only use them with my AV receiver, so I can't say how they do when trying to drive them with something with the adapter and smaller headphone jack.
