This is false. Here are a couple of articles if you're interested in why resolution and pixel density matter:

You are missing the distance factor.

A 32" 720p screen becomes "retina" at about 75" away. If you are closer than 75" from screen, your eyes could see more detail. Greater than 75" away you cannot.

It is a PROVEN SCIENTIFIC FACT.

Good deal. Everything in Orange County, CA showing "Unknown" stock on Brickseek, which almost always means none available.
Obviously you don't follow Brickseek. It's been like this for a year now. Walmart stopped reporting Walmart stores inventory counts back in 2022. Now BS only shows Walmart pricing. It was a dark day that day.

You're right, I haven't followed closely.

The website says $199 and "Item is not available at this store" for any locations, while Brickseek shows $169 and $129 at a bunch of the locations (with no stock counts) so it can't just be following online can it?

Decent deal for the ultrawide. Basically a 4k monitor chopped in half. But very close to new 42" hdtv 4k prices at Wal-Mart (all hdtv can be used as monitors connected to pc by hdmi), and a 4k hdtv gets you almost double the screen space to work on.

3440x1440 this vs 3840x2160 4k hdtv.

Or 67%~ more pixels on a 4k hdtv.

Has anyone actually found this? If it's been on clearance for some time there's almost 0 chance of getting one.

If so, why do smart phone screens have so much resolution?

Nope, I can tell 720p on a 32in screen vs 2k.

I used this monitor daily for roughly 6 hours a day as I work remote. I noticed fatigue and twitching in my eyes. When I switched to a curved dell monitor I realized this Samsung gave me eye strain problems. I think that the curve really does make a difference.

I still use this monitor but I use it vertically split as two monitors. It's comically tall, But I use the top screen for Spotify or YouTube music and I use the bottom one for emails.

For $129 I say go for it. But just don't plan to use it for a 6 hours a day you might deal with I fatigue like I did.

Will keep an eye out for this. Could use a monitor upgrade on the cheap for my office at work. Getting seriously bummed out when I switch from my setup at home.
