Bosch and Milwaukee are top competitors in industry use tools along with Makita and a couple others. Ryobi is one of the better cheap home use brands but not generally advised for industry use. So if you are comparing Bosch to Milwaukee then you are getting exactly the same thing as they are in the same category and just kind of pass around best choice and #1 or #2 in category awards year by year with a couple other top brands. Ryobi isn't in that category so pretty much anything from Bosch or Milwaukee is automatically going to be better than Ryobi as a general rule.

Just wanted to add my two cents here, however useful it may be. When I got this set, it arrived with the seal broken on the box, the tools themselves had signs of use, it came with only 1 battery out of the two, and it had taped on serial numbers on the tools. Brand new from Amazon, at this same price, last month.

Bosch 12V is probably superior to most 12V out there, Milwaukee has a few home runs in their lineup but all of the 12V from Bosch is excellent, I have/use all of it and it's solid. Great grip comfort and weight as well as performance.
Also, YMMV but Lowes has this kit from $65-99 clearance and you will find clearance pricing on all of the Bosch 12V at varying levels of discount at Lowes presently.

As much as I love my 12v Bosch tools, the M12 line from Milwaukee has so much more options. Its a better ecosystem to be in, even if the quality of this tool is a little better (and I think it is).
