Made in TAIWAN, geez, not China! Arguably better quality standards.

All time low, it seems... and at ~$1.78 each, this is effectively cheaper than what you can get @ Harbor Freight (~$2/ea)

That second picture showing practical use just doesn't make sense. That bolt can be accessed using a regular socket.

These aren't flared crowfoots. As CheapyDinglebop stated above; flared is the way to go.
Thanks. I didn't catch the difference. Order cancelled.

[Edit] I went to Amazon with the intention of ordering this Sunex set. But after reading the critical reviews, as I normally do, I decided to not order this one, either.

I was going to question just how useful these are, but it looks like some people find them useful. My dad told me he had to buy/have them them, but he never had a reason to use them. For less than twenty bucks, I guess it is a set that is insurance for some unexpected need.

Source? The "country of origin" listed on amazon indicates China.
Several of the reveiws say Taiwan. Amazon gets it wrong often, so I wouldn't rely on them getting it right. They had my Knipex sets listed as China also, but all 3 sets were made in Germany.

These are going to a specialty tool, but when you do need them, they come in super handy. I would opt for the flared end because when you are in a tight space, the extra grip will save so much frustration.

The quality of the Sunex tools I've purchased is somewhere between Craftsman and Snap-On. Very good stuff.

I said F it and bought adjustable digital tq wrench for HVAC.
Line wrenches work for hydraulic lines for me.

This is accurate. I've had the same experience with multiple sets/tools from Sunex.

It's worth mentioning that these dont have the ball detents inside the square drive. That being said, I own these and still find them useful, considering the large price difference between a set with detents.

I bought a set of flared crowfoot wrenches from HF to torque head bolts on my boat motor when installing a new HG. The bolts were impossible to get a socket on being so tight against the bottom cowling.

The HF version isn't the best quality, seems like the flare doesn't extend far and they slipped a little on the bolts. Going to return them for these.

I took a look, myself. My guess is Taiwan, and I found a listing on FCP Euro which sells a lot of auto parts for German vehicles. They are like KC Tools in that they're very good at identifying COO and getting it correct. That said, FCP Euro is selling these, and they say they're made in Taiwan.

Both Metric and Fractional are on Homedepot as well for the same price with free shipping ( slower though ). Military discount applies if you have it.

This is useful in specific places where sockets don't work, such as nuts with a line going through them, like brake lines, hvac lines, hydraulic lines, etc, etc. Box wrenches don't work for the same reason sockets don't work. The open end sockets don't work because you'll just round off the nut. Crows foot are designed to tighten or loosen to higher torques than open end wrenches. The stouter arms to resist spreading under high loads and the additional bite points on the ends also helps. They help not just for high torque, but sometimes brass nuts are used and those will round off even under normal torque. Crows foot does a better job than regular open end wrench in working with brass nuts also.
