If you wait, Costco has these on sale for $150 regularly. Most recent ended mid-July
I bought this fridge a month ago. There are specific instructions on how to set it up. I followed them and filled it up with drinks and it took a full 2 days for the drinks to get cold. During those two days I was ready to box it up and send it back but since then it's worked like a champ and the wife likes the size and how it opens up room in the main fridge. So we're keeping it. Walmart does provide a few options for returning including bringing it into a local store or curbside pick up from FedEx, in case you're on the fence.
Seems like a good fridge but horrible Walmart shipping. Don't know if I would want to haul this back for return if damaged.

Does yours make constant noise? Also ice droplets on back wall of fridge? I have mine set at 3-3.5
Mine isn't the same brand/model, but it is the same type and size and technology.
Not noisy at all, can barely hear it when it runs.
The fridges this size are not frost free, so yes they all make ice droplets on the back wall and they have a defrost cycle that runs every once in a while that melts it off.

Mine also builds up a fair amount of ice in the freezer compartment, but it doesn't take that much time to clear it out once a year or so. I've put off defrosting the freezer part too long and now it won't hold as much stuff because there is a lot of ice.

Can these be placed on carpet? Short of the garage I have no good hard floor spot to place this in unless I want to shit besides it.

7.5 cu. ft. I guess you can get away with this if you're living by yourself in a studio apartment.

Or for a spare.

Took a punt on one of these a few weeks ago when it was a similar price and so far so good.

Great for drinks, and some extra food if we do a big shop. Now the freezer compartment isn't all that good so don't put meat or ice cream in there but fine for waffles/pancakes for the kids.

Got one of these years ago. Love it for the price and size/convenience. Gives me a better mini-fridge with a freezer. Just be aware that the freezer doesn't have that vent thing that prevents ice from forming. And it has less cold air entry points. So the top shelf will freeze beverages while other shelves won't. And I seriously doubt it is air tight, so fresh foods will go bad quicker than expected.

But it's $200. Great compliment to a regular refrigerator if your wife has a tendency to fill up the main refrigerator with giant pots and pans, a freezer full of random things she will TOTALLY cook some day, etc. - while you just want to keep some beer cold and have a few frozen meals handy when you don't feel like cooking.

So far no issue with freezer other than powdery ice forming along inner walls. So far I have frozen vegetables and nuggets in there. Plan to store ninja creami pints too. I would do frozen meats but since they are larger I just put them in our garage freezer

This is being used as my main downstairs fridge. I keep food and cooked leftovers, some fresh veggies, cooked rice, various condiments, apples and milk in it. Haven't experienced any freshness issues. I keep it around 3 temperature level, it seems if I go higher the noise from it constantly stays on. Before that used a $100 insignia fridge 2.6 cu ft for 2 plus years. Now it's my other spare mini fridge. Mainly use it now for drinks or smaller foods space

I suspect this fridge is similar in operation to the one this guy is talking about

The short version is because of the way the fridge operates it doesn't do a great job of holding temperature when it has to deal with cooling down things like warm drinks.
I was thinking about the same video when I seen this

I haven't had any noise issues. It's significantly quieter than the budget mini fridge that it replaced. That thing was loud enough that I couldn't keep it in my bedroom. And if I had to walk to a different room to get a beer, I might as well just walk to the main fridge.
