You can get reinforced milk crates from Tractor Supply for about $8. They'll last a very long time, carry heavy weight, and they can be stacked to high heights. For socks or something, the cheaper one might be good.

Gas was also 97 cents before, in the early 90s, but we don't have a time machine... so what's the point of your comment?
These are available at many dollartrees for a while now. It varies from Location but my stores near my have always had these, majority carry white only.

I'm guessing these are too small and flimsy to flip upside down and use as a stand for floor standing surround speakers.

That looks like a much better option for what I just mentioned above. Thanks for the link.

I can't believe you don't have a time machine! I remember when I saw it on SlickDeals. Too bad YOU don't have a time machine to go back and get one.
I guess you used the time machine to travel back and warn us to keep an eye out for time machine deals.

16QT Plastic Heavy-Duty Plastic Square Milk Crate Black https://www.walmart.com/ip/269828837. The normal size ones are $7.50 at Walmart if anyone is interested. They are of decent quality. I put some fairly heavy stuff in some 40+ pounds at least and they hold up fine. They have good reviews if that's relevant to you.

People actually buy these? Just go out to the back of a restaurant, bar or grocery store and there's tons of them. The wider ones, too.

These were cheaper before. 97 cents.

There was a time when Americans would be upset with inflation and hold elected officials responsible. Now we just accept it instead of holding politiciansx feet to the fire.

You can get these cheaper at the dollar tree to be fair. Literally saw them there yesterday. No time machine required.

Grocery stores give them back to their suppliers now and reuse them. They don't give them away anymore.

No clue about restaurants. I've never seen crates sitting behind any restaurants in my area but ymmv

Speakers are way too large for these. You could sit a small Bluetooth speaker on them lol

They say right on them "property of ....".

Check out Florida Man: https://www.sun-sentinel.com/2016...ilk-crate/

However, I do buy them all the time at the local thrift store for 90 cents. Had one from Alpha Beta if you remember that chain, but gave it to my son last weekend for a move.

Thanks so much! I've been on the lookout for the "older" heavy duty milk crates for putting things in the bottom of a chest freezer (with reusable shopping bags sitting on top organized by color...veggies in the green bag for example.....been just using the bags which works but easier to keep cheese and small items in the crates at the bottom.

If you actually go to the homedepot store website (at least for MY local store) they want $11.98 for ONE crate...so $8 at tractor supply is a better deal.
