Additionally, I was hoping the agent would be able to apply my HD 10% off coupon. He was not able to do so but said to call the CC number after purchase to have them adjust for it. I have not made that call yet. The additional 10% was the only reason I went through the effort to buy at HD in the first place, otherwise I would have been fine purchasing through Amazon.
Really easy.

Managed to snag an HD price match for $474 plus taxes during an online chat session, Thursday at 2 pm EST, in case anyone's curious. Both Acme Tool and Amazon had coupons at the time, and HD chat didn't even question the coupons. So, effectively, they gave me a $175 discount from their perspective. The online chat took about 30 minutes to get the discount and set up the purchase. Now, just waiting to see when the saw will be shipped to the local store in a couple of weeks. Not sure why they don't take it from local stock (I've asked before), but I guess it's their process
If space was not a huge consideration, I'd trade my DeWalt for a Delta 36-725T2 immediately.
Difficult question to answer without knowing what you intend to do with your saw. For DIY home owners and moderately serious woodworkers, the Dewalt is plenty good enough. But if you intend to become a serious woodworker, then the Delta is better for you. Personally, if I didn't have space constraint, I'd take the used Delta over a new Dewalt in a heart beat. But, that's just me.
There is one downside to owning a cast iron table saw. The table surface may rust if you live in a high humidity region. You need to maintain the surface top periodically. Not a problem with stamped aluminum table top.

Does it take more space when in the box or out of the box?

I'd say that a SawStop is most valuable for people who have the weakest skills, as they are more likely to do something dangerous and finger removing! They are very expensive but so is finger surgery...
