Trying to decide between this and the Delta 36-725T2. Does anyone have experience with either?
Market Basket has Lowes gift cards on sale for 10% off right now which can bring the price ~ $480 for the Dewalt or $612 for the Delta
No military discount on the Dewalt but allowed on the delta bringing it down to ~$550

I have the Delta and love it, very smooth, actually pretty quiet compared to my old saw, lots of power, great fence, heavy table.
I got it on that sale they do a couple times only paid $339 for it, that sale does come around every now and then but have to jump on it. This was a thread for that fwiw:

The Delta is a much larger saw that is pretty much going to remain setup in the shop and provide much better cuts and functionality, but if you have to load it into your truck every day you'll have to go with something like the DeWalt that is designed for jobsites.
The Delta is also available in orange from Home Depot, so take available discounts and rebates (possible 11%) into account for there as well. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../315635451

Two things:
A. It's been this price for months at all the major suspects.
2. I bought this from MaxTool at the beginning of February (for $469 and free shipping) and I'm not impressed. It works, but considering the higher "regular" price compared to Ridgid (R4514), Metabo HPT (C10RJSM)… even the little Skil (TS6307, not the costly worm drive Skilsaws), this Dewalt doesn't deliver enough bang for the buck. Among those saws, this Dewalt has the least stable fence, an equally as warped table, second worst throat plate (the throat plate on the Ridgid is even worse), the miter gauge that comes with this Dewalt is a joke not fit for a child's toy, and the funky miter slot spacing on this Dewalt have presented a challenge finding off-the-shelf feather boards that reach close enough to the blade for thin rips.
FWIW, I based my opinion on actual hands-on experience with each of the saws I mentioned, not something my buddy's neighbors daughters husband said, or a video review I saw on the interwebs.

Nope. Ridgid just has Delta relabel/recolor some of their new plug-in power tools for them. They are all in the NEXT line-up and come with a 5-year warranty instead of the lifetime service agreement that the older Techtronic produced versions have.

.
Mostly stationary or portable? Those are two different types of table saws.
While using both, I like and have the Delta Contractor with belt drive that has less vibration, a longer shaft for up to 13/16" dado, cast iron center top, Biesemeyer style rip fence, mobility rollers, etc. that is overall a better build. Although not as portable, the Delta Contractor saws have been on commercial job sites for as long as I can remember as legacy tools. For years, this saw has and is still made in Taiwan, but the upgrade cabinet model is still made in the USA.
DeWalt is a portable saw that uses the similar, if not same direct drive 15amp motor as their 8-1/4" saw and reminds me of a circular saw turned upside down. And good luck with any width on a dado set. With the DeWalt, you are paying for portability that includes the table extension as part of the adjustable fence that closed, takes up less room. But fully extended, not as tight. You do get a micro fence adjustment with DeWalt, but I am thinking it is rubber friction and not a gear drive as I have had on some fences. With the 10" you also get an easily removed riv knife that I seldom use. Mostly made in China, while the slider is all made in China.
Each saw has their place, pluses and minuses, but if choosing easier portability, the DeWalt will get the job done.... while many prefer the gravity rise Bosch stand that can be used for other than Bosch saws. Made in China, it is still pricey, but not terrible with saw and stand.
