I assume you are looking at a 36-725T2 or similar. I'd go with the Delta. I own a previous version of DeWalt 10" contractor saw. While it is a great contractor saw, it has all the flaws of a contractor saw. First, the table surface. The Dewalt is made of aluminum with a coating. It is not very smooth, especially the miter tracks, you can feel the bumps inside the tracks with your finger. I had to sand mine smooth to allow my jigs to slide smoothly. You also can't used mag switch accessories with aluminum. The table size is also small. Not very good for ripping long stocks. There is not enough fence registration to get the ripping started perfectly parallel to the blade. Delta has a bigger, cast-iron table top that allows you to use mag-switch accessories on it. A huge plus. The weight of the cast-iron also minimizes the vibration from the motor, which is a problem for my Dewalt. I have to replace my zero clearance insert periodically because the vibration chews up the opening. A simple test to check vibration is to stand a nickel on its side on the table saw with the power off. Turn on the saw and see if the nickel still stands on its side. No contractor saw passes this test. Delta saws are hybrid contractor saws and should pass this test. Finally, the wing to the right of the fence gives you the option of adding a router lift and turn it into a router table. That saves a lot of room in a small shop.

If space was not a huge consideration, I'd trade my DeWalt for a Delta 36-725T2 immediately.

few reviews on both, youtube video from "projects for all" does a good side by side.
I picked up the skill a few weeks back (before this Dewalt went on sale) for my use, the Skil is plenty fine
BUT may have leaned to the Dewalt as I like the table/ wheels
Work height is a factor but not big deal with making your own caster stand for Skil
The Skil for $300 its very hard to beat

Price matched with HD. Agreed it is much easier to deal with returns this way if there does happen to be a problem. Easy process on the price match. Started a live chat and went from there. Took 5 minutes.

In for one at Home Depot with price match via online chat. Store pickup and easy return if it's damage/don't like it makes HD a win over Amazon.

Does anyone know if they have attachments for this saw for material overflow? Saw people add them to Skilsaw Table Saw with the awesome wheels.

I don't understand the easy HD return thought process. You call Amazon and say- "Nope, come get it." They send a delivery truck to pick up the box at your house. What could be easier?
