If you're buying high-priced Michelin tires ($900+ for 4 tires), the new discount will be very similar to what it has been for the past 9 months.

Match with Discount Tire/America's Tire if you can. DT/AT usually does not include their road hazard warranty (Add 10% of tire price to total price).

(Except for Pilot Sport 4S. This one has been low stock all of last year, all of this year, and higher than normal price because of that shortage).

Agree, I used to only get tires at Costco but recently switched to Discount. Costco tends to be very slow when it comes to rotations and often gets behind with appointments. In my area rotations usually take at least an hour, while Discount has you in and out in under 30 minutes.

Pro-tip: If you have a 'Discount Tire' locally, they will match the price to the penny. I prefer Discount Tire, as there are multiple in my City, they are faster and more friendly.

Didn't Costco used to offer 150 off Michelin's now I'm seeing only 100 off. Am I going crazy?

I bought tires in early August. I submitted a price adjustment request on the installation. I doubt it but worth a shot. The Bridgestone discount is no longer available once they went to free installation

Also, my tires arrived at the warehouse the next day. When you go to schedule an appointment, it's a fixed ten days or something out from order date. You can mess with the order date to get an earlier available installation. I ordered on a Thursday, installed on that Saturday.

This was with installation included. Was able to get the tires delivered to Costco and installed 1.5 weeks later.

Installation went smoothly EXCEPT one tire was literally flat upon picking up my car. Had to tell them and they were confused as to how that happened (like whoever installed literally didn't pump it). This along with other things to inspect upon pickup.

Seeing the total price for the same tires now at Total $949.75 after discount and taxes. So pretty much the same. I don't think it'd get any better in a week or so

I did this same deal but the H speed rating cross climate 2 tires were not available. I decided to try the V speed tires and we noticed a big noise increase compared to the stock Honda odyssey tires. Since you could return them in 1 months time I did that once I saw the H rated tires became available. We did that and they were much less noisy. Downside is that while I got to return the tires for free I had to pay for the installation the next time. I'm glad we did it because I like the quieter tires but sharing this experience for anyone else that may be evaluating V vs H or considering the return

Last time I got this deal from Michelin I ended up with a tire that was bad and car was shaking at high speed. I went back to Costco and they said one of my wheel was hit on a curb and it cannot be properly balanced. I bought new wheels from Costco, they installed them and at first tire rotation problem returned. They send me to get a specialized inspection for my alignment claiming nothing wrong with tires but my car. "Inspection" found something minor (regular wear) but they could not tell what the issue was.
Finally, I went to a local Michelin recommended service to check, they did the alignment (again), balanced and in the end they said they could find nothing wrong with tires. I left and as soon as I was hitting 70-80mph car was shaking...
I went back to Costco and asked them to rotate front and back tires, then checked, this time car was starting to shake at 60mph so I concluded (again) one of the tires is BAD!
Ok, this 'drama' lasted for about 2 years.
In the end I went to Costco and buy a whole new set of tires (not Michelin) and as soon as I left and hit it, voila, no more shaking!
Morale of the story: they did not want to acknowledge a bad tire that would not stay balanced at high speeds...

this is the way. Discount has always been good. I have a location by my work that seems to overbook and takes up to an hour for rotation WITH appointment sometimes but I no longer go their knowing that. Normally under 30. Plus tire insurance. Always but the tire insurance.

My Costco is extremely slow. First you will be in line with 2 people in front for maybe half an hour just to give your key, next you pretty much have to leave the car for a day

Always buy Michelins from Costco and always wait on one of these deals. Problem this time is that the ones I need for my MKX are out of stock and have been for several weeks. Hopefully they will have some before this deal expires.

I did the exact thing plus when you go for tire rotation you're in and out less than a half an hour(depends on your location)

Nitrogen isn't affected by temperature as much as air, so it makes a difference in climates with winters with below freezing temperatures. Won't need to add air as much with N2.
