I'm really not sure, reminds me of magic the gathering. You have to pull cards durning fight scenes that direct what moves you can use.

I was hoping it would be more like the other marvel games like GOG or spiderman.

This game is by the XCOM developers. It is a strategy RPG and I have heard it's actually really good. If you know what it is going in and that doesn't immediately turn you off, I assume most people will enjoy it.

I own and beat this game and had a great time with it. It's definitely not an action title. It's Xcom with cards, kind of. I know that doesn't sound super appealing but, it's a helluva a lot of fun once everything clicks.
