This is an easy $250, but the ACH deposit needing to be from employer or government kind of sucks. My employer only allows for my entire check to be moved through a direct deposit request and not just a portion

I only have a Amex Plat credit card with membership rewards points. I see this offer and also that you get membership rewards points on debit card spend. Will the membership rewards points get combined?
And if I cancel my credit card in the future, this could be a good way to not lose the rewards points.
Is my understanding correct?

I used to be able to split paycheck up, but seemingly no longer can. I signed up for this and will deposit one check for the bonus transfer it out. The account is limited in its features and the capital one 360 account I use now (from another slickdeals bonus) is much more useful
