Beat me to posting it haha. Always tempted to bite but the price keeps coming down! Chat with customer service for additional 10% off. Bringing down to 720 before tax

You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

This is one of the best Soundbar That dude have no idea what he talking about. Only had one issue which was Subwoofer disconnect issue. I sent it in to Samsung on the 990b model and they fixed it. Never had a problem since.

Close enough but not the same!

Also, the satellites (9500S) are $120 at BB if you go to the store and have them order it for you. If they have it in stock, it will ring at $120 also.

Oh man... Congrats to you. Been trying for weeks to get a 10% off code. They won't do it no matter what I say or do. Was going to go with Q990c if I could have got a code. Finally broke down and bought the Q900c with a $25 off App purchase by signing my wife up. so $475 pre tax. Bought the 9500s from Best Buy for $125. Really hoping this is comparable to Q990. Price can't be beat if it is. Either way, I've got a pending return on the Q910c due to it having the worst sounding wimpiest rear speakers possible. Excited to try this unit...

When you say not the same, you're talking about the rears not having the side firing driver correct? Keep hearing the soundbar and sub are identical. Although there's a few people out there claiming that's not quite the case. To my knowledge Samsung has never confirmed or denied either way.

Yes, I was referring to the rears not being equal. The difference in the rears is more than the extra side channels but also the drivers themselves. As for the soundbar and sub, I do believe they are identical and if you download the manuals for both and check the specs of both models, you will find them identical (spec section is the end)
