You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

They pair with any tv specially the recent ones but some of the features may not play well with certain tv's. Do a quick research before buying

Don't know anything about high end oled tvs. However, just looking at the numbers, that same TV is selling at Amazon and best buy on sale for around $2600. At other places it is more. So based on that bundled in with a smoking priced soundbar, it seems like a solid deal...

There's no comparison at this price point. The q990c is so much better simply because you get rear speakers and an subwoofer included in the price. The Sonos arc is more expensive and lacks all the extra speakers.

The only downside is that it doesn't support 120 hz at 4K (NO HDMI 2.1) I have talked to support and they didn't give me the 10% discount but I got 25$ via the Samsung app. I also used local pick up (shorter time than shipping) from reading reviews this is a great soundbar and 775$ is a great price
