I paid $22 or this in 2020 and feel it was a waste of money. If you have an age/health related condition that prevents you from digging out a weed using a more traditional manner, then it might be worth it. Also it is not precise when digging a weed from grassy areas so you will end up taking out big chunks of grass with it.

Got one the last time it was a fp deal. Works well in grass, and yes as others have mentioned, it does pull up a bit of dirt and creates a small hole/divot. Even so i still prefer it to bending down all the time. Doesnt work with the tiny weeds or ones that are right at the edge of cement or coming up between rock landscaping though, so it's not a use all weed puller

Totally disagree. If you follow the instructions on how to point the trunk in those prongs then you'll see the perfect result. This thing really works and got dense grassy lawn as well.

Only thing I don't like is how the weeder makes a sound like a reloading shotgun when you dump the weed in your bin. Oh well, here's to America

Durability is poor. Broke after one use on some stubborn crabgrass clumps.

Basically good for small weeds that you could pull out easily with two fingers.

Obviously nice benefit of not having to bend over, but it's certainly not heavy duty at all.

I can't compare them but I got a grandpa's weeder a couple years ago because I had a ton of thistle throughout my yard and it's been great. I just listen to an audiobook and wander around the yard to pop weeds up. I like that there isn't much that can go wrong with grandpa's weeder since it only has one moving part and it is entirely wood and metal. The ejection feature is the main tempting thing about the fiskars. Just some food for thought. Probably can't go wrong with either one if you find yourself pulling weeds from your lawn regularly.
