Been waiting on this deal!

Just re-stocked at Amazon, shipped and sold by Amazon - note limited stock (currently only 7 available with more on the way).

This is very similar to the highly rated and recommended Gigabyte M32U, nearly identical according to RTings. (M32U is currently $649 on Amazon).

All time low according to Camel.

Read the reviews and a lot of QC issues and getting them to take care of warranties has been a huge hassle. They also make you pay return shipping per comments.

I can't speak to their warranty process. But being shipped and sold from Amazon means you'd have at least 30 days to return if it's defective. From personal experience I had a M32UC from Gigabyte that I absolutely loved, but did have one bright pixel (returned without any issue at Amazon). It had very similar features to this model, and I can say the quality was really excellent - just not necessarily QC given the pixel problem. Their warranty allows for up to 3 pixel dead or bright which is the same as most brands. However, note that they do include a 3 year warranty, which is not standard.

Contemplated this and the M32u and decided for the LG C2. Much bigger and not for everyone but absolute love the display. Monitor tech has a way to go to catch up to TV tech imo.

I've heard great things, but I'm one of those people that fears OLED right now. Even the possibility of burn-in on a $1k+ TV or Monitor breaks my heart. The M32UC which has a VA panel instead of IPS was really a great monitor. I used with my work laptop, MacBook Air and Xbox Series X - all seamlessly. As mentioned in a prior comment, the M32UC's had one pixel bright, so it went back. KVM is life-changing.

Fair point, even with all the evidence burn in is negligible on LG C2s I still get nervous. I take all the counter measures though and when I see a 4k movie or game on it in HDR I think "how could I go back to anything else" now. I REALLY wish we were getting FALD monitors around the $600 price point for 4k 144hz but unfortunately they are the same price as OLED right now.

Yea, I've tried to come over to that way of thinking. But I'd only do it if burn-in was 100% covered under warranty, and I'd want 5 years of coverage minimum (under extended or CC warranty). So far I only read one review (I think it was Tom's) that the Alienware OLED from Dell was covered for burn-in after just a year or two of usage.

Sounds like you might not be using it for your computer. But with the static elements on both Mac & Windows, and my tendency to game for endless hours on Xbox, my usage is unfortunately very much burn-in prone.

I have no doubt the picture on OLED is life changing, I just don't have the pocketbook to back replacing the screen. I could totally be over-worrying though.

You're right - there are a few monitors 27" and 32" that are being released with over 1000 dimming zones and Mini LED tech. I tried one from INNOCN (27M2V) , the picture was absolutely insane for an IPS panel. The problem is almost everything else about the monitor design was underwhelming or frustrating. A couple other companies have 1000+ dimming zone models. The problem is the price. They are all in the $750-1,000++ range, which at that point is basically a TV. Round and round it goes!

You know I was in the market for one of these, but I ended up getting the g9, and quite frankly, i don't think it's wise to stay in the standard 16:9 spec.

21:9 is probably the way to go. 32:9 is not supported enough,

Trends for gaming seems 21:9.

Ultra-wides are absolutely awesome. I tried a couple in my monitor search, both in UW-FHD and UW-QHD, but the resolution just didn't satisfy (being able to see individual pixels bothers me).

I didn't go to 4K / UW-UHD because they are cost prohibitive. IF OLED's didn't have burn-in risk, I would've splurged on a UW-UHD OLED 4K. But they do have that risk - so it wasn't worth the hefty investment. Especially since I will use it for Xbox gaming, which has black bars due to the limitation of the Xbox - and that just seems like tempting burn-in to occur.

21:9 and other UW resolutions are incredible for PC gaming and awesome for productivity. But the majority of Console users game on their TV. So I do believe we'll have 21:9 at least for the foreseeable future on console.

You know what, I totally forgot about console gaming. I somewhat assume everyone will be using a nice HDTV at 120 htz with VRR, but yeah formal gaming monitors are better for gaming.

OLEDs have come a long way. As long as you're not leaving it on a static image for long periods you shouldn't have anything to worry about

I tried some 32 inch 4k for my desk and it was awesome until night time. I couldn't get past the ips glow when sitting that close to the monitor. But for $500 I wouldn't mind picking this up.

I bought this monitor about a year ago, it has been great with excellent picture quality. I use ps5, desktop, laptop and iPad Pro m2 with no problems on it. Definitely a good buy at $499.
