At this point in time I would wait for BF.

At that price you might as well get an RTX 4070. More stable drivers and feature set + big advantage in ray traced games like Cyberpunk.

Stop using system restore every time the computer doesn't do what you want. My grandma did the same thing and kept undoing all the work I put in to it.

So, 7800XT clearly win.
And your link shows $550 with delivery "November 10", LOL.
I recommend wait for BF and get nice discount for 6800 XT for 4k/60 Ultra settings for casual gaming or 7800 XT if same price or more but you need AI/ machine learning, AV1 video processing, etc.
If same price - no point in 6800 XT at all, sellers just stupidly greedy, just grab 7800 XT it's better.
6800 non-XT... anyway better to wait BF to get it cheaper, but it's not Ultra settings 4K/60 gaming, just medium/high.

7900 XTX just for Starfield... good for you to have high income.
I've been on AMD for 4 generations. They're fine.

Finally I have seen RX7800 XT 16GB cards from XFX and Gigabyte right now for $499 to $529, and you know they will be on sale come BF, so should you spend $25, $50, $100 (1/5th more) and get a newer architecture RDNA 3 card with better boost clocks, same amount of memory, same manufacture and warranty, or fall for some warehouse "get rid of this old stock" dump?

The card you want, IF you're willing to sacrifice RDNA 3 is the RX6800 XT, SKU #: RX-68XTACBD9
The card they are pushing is SKU #: RX-68XLAQFD9
Those are my thoughts as someone that has worked in the IT, Telecom and Review industry for over 30 years with good friends at MaximumPC, PCWorld and other places. I have also build over 11,500 custom PC's over a 7 year period when Alienware was still "Alienware" and NOT "Dell, cost/benefit, ware", as well as running my own side business building and servicing custom computers since 1994, VipersHardware.
Good luck, and don't rush to jump on a deal because most of the time, "if its to good to be true, it probably is" so do your research and pick wisely.
