Another way to look at it is you're getting a discount on the TV if you finance because money has value over time. Even if you could buy it outright, throwing that cash in a Treasury bill gets you 5% annually
Adding from the previous 77" thread…
Got 77" for 2105 before tax, including extra 10% from chat and $100 credit for tv trade in. Don't suspect it goes lower this year.
Mine arrived, but was cracked and no picture. Have to return and reorder, no replacements through Samsung.com. Also have to wait to get the price match to the reorder until after second order ships. They appear to only ship on Fridays so waiting a week for all of it. Huge pain.
It's a big discount but I probably won't order direct from Samsung again. This is the case where I may well wait until BF now and buy elsewhere.
Finance the TV at 0% and put the money in Treasuries or CD

Rtings hasn't reviewed the 83" model - it uses an LG panel and is fairly different. I'm sure it is still great.
I'm surprised other people haven't reviewed it yet or posted an unboxing. I'm curious to see what it looks like and how it performs. I'm hoping 83" QD OLEDs are available next year.
Checked this out at a BB and looked similar to C3 but haven't seen any real reviews on youtube or avs forums. There is nothing on Samsungs own site too. Probably the reason samsung is heavily discounting this TV. I have been watching the price closely on this one and in the last 2 weeks it dropped close to $800 and just keeps dropping. Might drop even further next month on/before Thanksgiving. So, you might as well wait. If you want to purchase this TV I would suggest find a BB close to you which has this on display and compare it with LG Oleds without MLA as they use the same panels and then make a decision. The BB I visited had this displayed in their Magnolia section, and I could briefly compare it with other Oleds and Mini leds and as I said it looked pretty close to a C3 in terms of brightness and PQ. No DV though with Samsung if you care about that.
I was trying to hold out until Black Friday deals. I went back and forth over 77 and 83 inch models from Samsung and LG. This year you have to go 77 if you want the largest model with the newest OLED tech. It was between the G3 and S90C. I currently own a C8 and have been happy with it for years!
I have LG EPP as well and can get the G3 $3150. Well I went with the S90C! I got it for $2105 with a 10% discount through chat and got another 4% through a CB site.

83" yield is still an issue for LG
I think it's going to be a couple generations before 83. OLED is up to standards for the 77 inches
