Doesn't work with Home Base 2 according to the seller which really pisses me off. I bought 3 eufyCam 2's along with a homebase and doorbell a couple years ago. One of the cameras already bricked. Thought I was saving money without the subscription fees of blink but maybe not. Seems have to replace every 2 years or so and the compabilitiy between devices and home bases is horrible.

S220 $79 and S230 $99. Should I get S230 ? Thank you
I believe the S230 is slightly larger, but otherwise it's generally (slightly) superior.

In my opinion, this model is best off without the HB3. I know it enhances the features a bit, but not by much and all cameras must be within WiFi range of the HB itself. I had 5 S220s and an HB3. After a while, I dumped the HB because its range was inadequate even though my mesh wi-fi was strong in all locations. The S220s as standalone units are pretty great for all things but continuous recording.

I have 2 of these with a hb3. One doesn't charge to full capacity in the sun. It's losing about 2% per day after a plug in charge. I haven't had to plug it in since initial install. The other works like a champ. Good pics. Better delay than the older cams, but not much. Works well with the app. Offline storage is good.
The hb3 seems to have better range for me than the original hb. I have several older cams with external solar. No issues charging those at all but lower resolution.

So wish I could get these, but can't get over Eufy's privacy fiasco.

Great timing. I've been running 4 of these for 2 years. One may be going since the app has been showing it as not charging for the past week.
This happened to me as well, but after taking it down and wiping the solar panel real good, the problem was fixed. Try taking it down and wiping all those dust/dirt that collects on the solar panel over time.

I've had a good experience with Eufy so far. I've had my cameras for 3 years with no issues. I upgraded my garage one with the 360 tilt recently and resold my old one. I'm seeing their new products are incorporating more of this kind of technology which is nice.

Agree it's annoying that newer Eufy products don't work with HomeBase2 and older cameras don't work with HB3. Have been looking for an inside cam that is HB2 compatible and can't find.

I have had an opposite experience, the 3 outdoor Eufy cams I purchased 3-4 years ago have been great.

Can this be linked straight to the phone like their flood lights? I'd like to put up a few more cameras, but I don't know which Eufy cameras work autonomously through the app. I'm trying to minimize homebase / foundation / platform baggage and just go full mobile devices at this moment. Thanks.

Don't buy it. Mine didn't last more than 6 months. It just bricked. Unfortunately, I didn't install it for 8 months after buying it so it was out of the warranty period.

Thanks OP, I almost bought it, but at the last minute decided on the IEGEEK ptz solar instead for $54 at Walmart.
I bought the iegeek cameras, did your ask for a sim card? Mine is asking for a sim card but I don't see it in the packaging

No. But I put a micro SD card in them before I ever turned them on.

They have alot of the older [eufy.com] cameras now working with HB3, but I am waiting until they re-add homekit support to HB3.
