This one is a better one. I think it has a larger battery. It may charge faster too. I thought it required less time in sunlight to replenish itself. I have two and they've been fine. I think this one has a better spot light too.

Yes, based on my research. It's
  1. Battery last longer 3 month vs 4 month + charge faster 3hr vs. 2hrs
  2. Colored Night Vision
  3. Has Spot Light

I don't know what that is. If you're talking about spying or something, I'm okay with them spying on my grass and block wall. Or maybe it's something else. I don't know about?

The only thing I've heard people mad about is they promised your data never left your device and then found that thumbnail images were sent to the cloud to send push notification. Shitty, but it is what it is.

I have 2 double spotlight cams on my garage for 6 mo. without a single issue.
3 mo. ago I bought an S230 solar cam. Solid build with absolutely zero issues. I found the software install basic and straightforward(simple). I'm 71 so if I can do it ....... The S220 is similar to the S230, no major upgrades. The battery charges enoughso that it's never gone off. The app on my phone works great, clear, detailed even at night. I love being able to see what's going on at home anywhere, anytime. I again moved the solar cam as I'm watching all the different visitors to my yard. I put near my bird feeders to watch them. crystal clear pictures. If I had to say a negative it's that I've been unable to connect on my laptop, I have to use my cell phone.
I highly recommend this company and unit based on my experience

I have 2 of these and while southern california doesn't get frequent terrible inclement weather, my issues with the devices stemmed mostly from problems pairing to my wifi or keeping it paired and that appeared to be an issue with a specific router I had.
