This fluctuates a lot, but this is the lowest I've seen it. Triple camel shows it lower once, but otherwise never below $115. Limited to z-wave users.

That means you don't trust any lock then. Any lock can be defeated.
These lock works with the ring home hub if you already have it. I have 2 kwikset locks connected to my ring app via the hub.
Yes. This Kwikset uses the "SmartKey" system and you can key it to match existing locks in your home.

Seems like a good deal/price! And its not just the Black version. Might want to update the title as I almost didnt click on this one as I would want satin nickel instead. I just dont have a need for this at the moment. The kiwkset 910 that I have is still running strong

No is the short answer. You will also need a Zwave hub, like smartthings, an echo that has it enabled or something like hubitat. You may also need internet. I run smartthings at home.

I have zwave running for several years. What chip is this using and would it really matter vs new ones?

This is running Z wave plus 700 series chip so not old at all. Not the newest 800 long range but much newer than a lot of competitors. I've been running these and they've been rock solid connection wise in home assistant and much prefer z wave to wifi/zigbee.

This is a 700 series chip. Almost the latest. Just now starting to see some stuff with the new 800 long range series stuff so this is pretty new.
