Clementine's story is better and more memorable than any of the TV shows. If you're familiar with other Telltale Games and enjoy the point-and-click story gameplay, this is a must-have. If you're not, I'd still recommend to anyone at this price.
I first played this like 8 years ago when I got my dog, and now I have an 8 year old pup named Clementine. 10/10 would do again.

I am not a fan of this style of game. A lot of people do though. It's not graphically advanced nor action packed. It's more like a playable movie type heavily story driven type game. As long as that appeals to you, I am sure that you will enjoy it.
It's like a narrative with point and click elements mixed in. Not exactly a challenge to complete, but the story running through the main series is pretty good. I'm playing through all of them now and it's interesting getting to see the Clementine character grow up in a world that's gone to hell.
Just don't expect too much on the "your choices dictate the story" piece of it. There are major story beats that you are guided towards, regardless of your actions or dialogue. At best, it alters the way you get to those beats. If you can get past that, you'll get your $13 worth out of it.

This is a great price for a ton of content. Keep in mind these episodes used to be sold 5 at a time at $5 a pop, with 5 parts per main season (around $25 per season). That added up to a lot of money if you bought all these at release. Now you can just get them all for $12.50 and the older ones are a bit improved on graphics.
I'm playing through them now and played the initial releases on xbox 360. I will say I wish they modernized the remaster, for instance, getting to RUN. I can't tell you how slow some parts feel because you have to walk your slow ass all over the place. Also, I can't recall for sure but I don't think you can skip certain cut scenes. So if you screw up and go back through, you gotta watch it all again which can be a huge pain. I've played these up through seasons 1 and 2, where this is definitely an issue in Season 1. It may have been fixed in 2, I can't remember. Beyond that, I believe the games get more modernized so i'm looking forward to them. I haven't played any beyond Season 2. That said, it is still a really good game. The characters are awesome, the story is addictive. There can be some slower moments, but overall it has great pacing. If you can get past some technical flaws and annoying puzzles, it really is a very good TellTale series. Highly recommend.

I played these a long time ago, but from what I recall the very first one was pretty amazing and felt like you could take different paths. Like you could choose to save different npc characters, and they'd continue to be around for dialogue for a while.
I remember clementines story feeling more restricted with the options. The story wasn't bad, but there was more rigid a structure telling you what to do, in what order, etc.
The next game I tried from them was game of thrones which felt WAY too restrictive, and I just couldn't play them anymore, so I can't comment on later walking dead. The first one was the best, the second was decent.
I love Telltale games and the Walking Dead Season 1 is one of their best. Heavy on story with point-and-click gameplay. Some familiar characters from the comics make appearances too.
Also, I enjoy collecting PSN trophies and these games are easy Platinums (except the second game which has no platinum). If you like this style of games, checkout The Wolf Among Us (based on the Fables comics) and Tales from the Borderlands.
If you enjoy story, characters and suspense in video games, then yes. Very good, especially the entire collection at this price. Waited years for the final season. With this you get it all, and all at once.
