For the love of all things please stop making flashlights that take a ton of AAA batteries. In that footprint it could easily be one 18650 with a charging port.

You are pretty dense if you think flashlights with std shelf batteries don't have a place. Maybe an extended power outage would give you more perspective

I'm dense, but I'm not the one that has to buy cases of AAA batteries because of poorly designed products. These are throwaway flashlights. Nothing more.

AAA batteries can last over 10 years if they are properly stored... How long can a 18650 charge last? Yea .. like I said DENSE

I actually prefer this type because I can use rechargeable Enloop batteries and I don't have to throw them away just because the sealed in included battery went bad after a year or so. In addition an 18650 doesn't stay charged in a drawer for extended periods like an Enloop does! SO for an emergency flashlight for a storm or power outage I can grab one out of a drawer I haven't touched in a month or 3 and it will work when I need it.
Now 100 lumens kinda leaves a bit to be desired IMO but since these are just over $5 each I can't complain too much.

This is what I use for daily need a light around the house https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1

18650 and 1000 lumins, It may be more to your liking but it wasn't $5 Smilie
