Not only that, but if you're around Wi-Fi most of the time you can forgo cell plans entirely and just use GV over WiFi. Buy cell plan only when you really need it, get a new number on that plan, and a few quick taps in the GV app gets your GV# forwarded to it.

didnt see any giftcard offer.
but it did say "There was a temporary issue" but still allowed me to buy it (without mention of giftcard)
i'll wait till website fixes.
also, the sim is $60 yet i'm still being charged $5.99 shipping???

it's throw away for me.
if you're going to continuously take advantage of the mint sim sales, xfer your # to gv for like $10.
then again, Deadpool sold mint to tmobile. it's pending regulatory approval.
so no idea if there will be great deals like this anymore once approved.
It's the same network in practice, so should be fine.
