As many people will attest to getting a freezer shipped from walmart, it will arrive broken, and you will go through hell trying to get it returned.

Buy one from a company that knows how to deliver appliances. Never Walmart.

Bought this last time, brought to my rental house 3 hours away, didn't work. Had to lug it back, put it back in box and had FedEx come pick it up. Easy return. I wouldn't buy again, seemed pretty cheap.

Not much of a product description. Is it garage ready? Also, the defrosting info is vague. Manual defrost? Does that mean you have to empty it and defrost it every 6 months or so?

Bestbuy has a similar one similar priced that is garage ready and local, so no shipping.

Mine is in the garage, it does not say garage ready. Already had frost last night in Conn. Will let you know

of course it is manual defrost.
