Seems to be an annual thing every November that these ladders go on sale. $5 more than last year's deal.

Some other sizes on sale, too. Here are the 6' links at Home Depot and Lowes.

I have both the Werner 6' Aluminum and 6' fiberglass. I initially purchased the aluminum one with light weight being the selling point. It is light and stable. The fiberglass one is not much heavier but feels much more substantial. The Aluminum one is not unsafe, by any means, just not as beefy. The weight difference is small enough that if I had to do it over again, I would have just gone with the fiberglass version.

This is perfect to replace smoke detectors battery upstairs. God I hate trying to carry our heavy one when my dog is freaking out by the alarm.

Light and stable - gorilla aluminum platform ladder
This is actually what I got instead of the 6' fiberglass or aluminum ladders. Has nice wide steps, easy to move around, and very stable. For $100, it's a better deal than other brands. And it comes with a lifetime warranty, not that I expect to ever need to use the warranty.

Yea…I bought this same ladder for 30$ on sale in store. Granted that was in early 2021, times have changed.

Agree the fiberglass ladder is sturdier than the aluminum one. However Home Depot is offering free delivery, whereas Lowe's charges $29+ for delivery.

Will HomeDepot match Lowe's price for the 6" fiberglass ladder with free delivery?

Think mine was the fiberglass version bought 2 years ago for $40. Great ladder. The aluminum type 2 was $30 at one point I believe.

I'll go ahead and downvote you for mentioning that. Just kidding I'm not a loser, thanks for adding to the conversation.

Your right. I bought the 6 ft. for $27 and the 8 ft.$45 but I guess that is what inflation does. They are great ladders and easy for me to handle. The fiberglass ones were too heavy for me in my 70's.

The 8' are also on sale for $69 at both Home Depot and Lowes. It'll work a lot better/safer for cleaning my gutters than the extension ladder I've been using. Thank you OP.

So the "fresh new look" is yellow accents instead of black correct?

Stop helping spend my money! Perfect for painting my walls with the *^&%^$ high ceilings!!

Picked it up. Sturdy but not too heavy. Would be better with a paint bucket shelf...but for the price - happy.

Bought one on line, went to pick it up. It had cracks on back legs at rivets. Cashier said I could get another. Next one also same cracks in the fiberglass. Refunded purchase.

If you had to carry a ladder around all day long, i'd suggest going with the aluminum version. The fiberglass is definitely more beefy but it will tire you out if you're in any type of production run
