Better screen than previous bestbuy deal, with 15.6" 16:9 and $50 less, sadly I can't return mine anymore

That's a pretty big price difference between this and that 100W 4060. Is it worth it?

According to this review "upgrading to the RTX 4060 would boost performance by 15 to 20 percent. For gamers on a budget, we recommend sticking to the RTX 4050 or RTX 4060 options."

Just depends on price and if you feel like you need the extra power I think

Hmm, 50 nits more brightness? But still with 45% NTSC (or 60% SRGB).. if it was 100% SRGB for this price, I think I'd buy it. I'm still hoping Black Friday will have some better options in the $700-900 range. The A16 with 7600S almost fits the bill, but I hear it runs pretty warm. This LOQ also has JUST 2 heat-pipes, I imagine the fans run fairly loud...

Yes, the fans can get a bit loud, however, not as much as people may think, and it does gets hot while gaming if you use it in a place where fans does not have a proper airflow

This one just might be hitting the sweet spot for me.
Reasonable Screen. Good processor. Decently good graphics card.
Seems like the best price I've seen for these specs.
I wish it had 16gb memory, but since it's not soldered, no problem. I can wait for a deal on some memory.

Better thermals(but that means louder fans)
Better processor
Bad battery battery life
8GB RAM(cheap upgrade but does factor into the price)
GPUs are close but frame generation is a huge advantage considering future proofing.
There are also many people reporting sleep and wifi issues with the A16.
I would go for the Lenovo unless battery life is very important to you or you're playing AMD optimised games

In the market for a new laptop, will BF deals be better than this? Looking for something that can handle very casual gaming around this price range

I picked up the Asus TUF A16 and while I've been enjoying the screen and battery life, the CPU routinely hits 95c under load, which has me a little concerned. I haven't had any issues with wifi or sleep.

Also, and this might just be me, but I'm not crazy about Armory Crate. Its settings sometimes conflict with Windows' power management and/or Adrenalin's settings.

This is actually a really good system for the price just specs wise, add an extra 30 bucks for a stick of RAM and this is a really good value

Sweet deal given the GPU, Ryzen 7, upgradability, USB-C with PD. It's about all that you can ask for given the price point keeping in mind this is a budget price and you can't have everything without spending more. If you want that budget GPU laptop I don't see how this could be a bad deal. RAM is a cheap upgrade or if you don't want to do any upgrades, there are good deals on similar models with 16GB too. But say you want more RAM, I'd take the $50+ savings and just put that into an upgrade parts.

Ah right on! -I'm trying to upgrade from last year's Tuf a15 with 3050ti, for some reason it runs pretty quiet, I can barely ever hear it, even though some reviews said it was loud, lol.. so I can understand what you're saying. On the other hand, the 6800H cpu is basically always pegging 95c, (yet somehow the top of the keyboard never gets overly warm feeling for me). I might have to try the LOQ and A16 and see what I think of them. Thanks for your input bud!
