This is my installation in case anyone was curious what they looked like

I have the 100 ft kit but did a lot of research beforehand. The power supply included in the kits will only allow for the max of 150 feet. If you attempt to chain additional strings, the lights will flicker or not even light up from what I've read. Solution is to buy multiple kits and plug them into separate outlets and use the app to sync the different kits so they behave as one.

I own 30 different Govee products and I love them all and I love the company and their customer service is second to none. Govee hosts their own products on Amazon and works with Amazon. That's why the prices are the same but they are not always exactly the same. If you plan on buying more Govee products in the future, or you think you might, you won't get rewards points buying on Amazon but you will from their website FYI

Can you give tips on how to extend?

My brick is shades of light reds and light browns while my stucco is a very dark brown. There is no difference in color with the lights. I made this video last night that hopefully helps

Has anyone put these on a brown or dark color soffit? Just worried the white wire will stick out like a sore thumb. Especially on the upper peak of a two story.

Looks great, but everyone said Govee standard lights can't do the warm white but this looks like pretty warm and the white I'd be looking for. Is it just warmer due to the camera shot?

Very helpful, thank you.

Meaning you will have a line of like cone shape design on the eaves/wall...then you will have a "break" in the line where your porch is, just general illumination, then another line/ cone effect after that on the next eave/wall.

Probably it's better to go under the porch and along this house wall. Seems like it would create a more seamless look.
There won't be any break. This will just be along a long overhang where there are no adjacent walls. When you say "general illumination" will you be able to see the different colors and animations? Or does it need to reflect off of something to notice the discrete colors and color changes?

I always wanted these as I don't have to take them off after every Christmas. Plus they look cool.

After purchase I realized it will be tough for me to climb up and install these at my home. And people who install festival lights are asking $800-$900. That's ridiculously expensive.

Any suggestions from someone who managed to install by himself?

I'm sure there are people with really good eyes for color that can very easily point out the difference between a true warm white and what I decided looked good, but I found that this shade of orange was the exact look I was wanting for that warm white color

If you mean extend the 150' to 200', you can't do that. A controller only supports up to 150'. I bought a second set to cover the distance

Thanks for the link but I have flat metal with small holes on the underside of where the roof line extends over the house and where the gutter begins.
The hooks won't do me any good, but maybe I can search for other adhesive options that will hold the lights and wires in place.
The biggest help with adhesive tape is to clean REALLY well before applying. Depends on what you are applying it to, but something like rubbing alcohol or a degreaser to remove all the dirt and oil. And apply when it's not too cold.

Nothing to figure out...I just want to do it once and do it right and forget it.
FYI - I installed to aluminum soffits this weekend and the included screws worked... I just punched a dent and they bit through the metal. Plenty secure for the weight.

Thanks finally pulled the trigger just now. My house is already the nicest and now it will also have the baddest lights year round!
