so you'd think that the difference in size between 83 and 100 would only be ~20.4% bigger, but if you do the actual math, the 100" TV is actually over 45% larger than the 83".
Math:
83" | 72.34" x 40.64" | 2939.9 sq. in.
100" | 87.16" x 48.97" | 4268.23 sq. in.
Just checked the weight: 221 lbs. !!!

For now, I guess I'll have to live with my 83" Sony A90J

I did measurements and calculated it'd work for the 100" tv due to the weight distribution. It's working just fine. No bowing, no cracking, nothing. I would say with caution that it's going to be individual, but it's working great for me! I've done a visual trick to provide the illusion it fits by moving my subwoofer to one side and adding a storage cube to the other, since it hangs off several inches. This may not be for everyone, but it works great for me. Here's a pic of it.

Edit: This is just too funny! I intentionally left out the fact that a few places have been reinforced, so I could find out how many people would berate me, because what I'm doing is wrong! The people who have directly messaged me, don't expect a response.
Having said that, it's quite a solid stand and really only has to have a few places reinforced for the tv to not cause issues down the line. I wanted to use multiple storage boxes in a row, but I liked the stand I have. Going to get as much use out of it that I can before I switch to something else.

I highly recommend mounting the tv or spending enough to have a entertainment center is meant for the weight and width of this tv. Not a particle board and paper built IKEA stand. Its likely cheaper to just get it mounted.
Oh man! I'm sorry to hear that.

I'll be switching from Sony A90J 65". Picture quality on that TV is amazing, just not big enough.
