Dirac is better than the MCACC or AccuqEQ calibration software these receivers usually come with.

Actually price cuts are not huge, they do it more often then Amazon and other retailers. But generally they discount around $50 more then the lowest price seen on Amazon. It does come at the expense of returns being not free as Amazon. So you make a choice.
Right!!! Like how are they able to offer this deal and/or how they make FP!!! 🙄
Other than that it's all just speculation as I just did.
BTW "Amazon/Best Buy" usually matches and or price matches Adorama(I have).
I'm surprised you didn't know all this since you have been on here since 2015!? 🤔
Sucks when they get picky!
I was waiting for the 4800 to hit $1200 or 3800 under $1k.
When the 3800 hit $999 I made BB PMing the deciding factor….
Completely expected them not to because of the lame reason not near a Adorama store and of course they did!
Good thing the 4800 hasn't hit $1200 😉
Noticed it has a fan keeping it cool. Returned tx-nr7100 because it was overheating

That would be one expensive mixer.
Never tried but I'm guessing won't work based on how each work.
If you plan to eventually build a speaker setup and you have the money for a receiver & a 7.1.4 Atmos soundbar.
My suggestion, start a budget fund with the money and just buy a used inexpensive soundbar + HDMI switcher to hold you over.
Yes they did and I used chat with an in store pick up
-Built in Chromecast cannot play on Zone 2. Also, only HDMI 1-3 can cast to zone 2. Not a deal breaker, but took me a while to figure that out.
-Having trouble getting DIRAC live to work, keeps saying volume too loud no matter how low I adjust the speakers.
-Switching between inputs and zones is slower/clunkier than my old Yamaha.
Overall happy, lots of power and sound. Just a few gripes I wasn't expecting in a receiver at this price range.
