If you're after Dirac Live and ok with global crossovers, mono sub outs, no pre outs and no option for DLBC this is a good price to get it.

I have Klipsch rp6000 fronts, a Klipsch rp504c center. Cheap Klipsch bookshelfs as surrounds. SVS pb1000 subwoofer.
Plan an getting ceiling mounted Atmos speakers.

SHOULD I worry about global crossovers? I am also eyeing a Onkyo nr7100 or Rz50 if they come on sale again.

Do/have you needed independent crossovers prior, if not then not a big deal.

Not too surprising. how often do you hear people say just set all your speakers to small and their crossovers to 80 and let your sub(s) handle all the bass!

They didn't used to be. Pioneer has always had global crossovers. They've also always had autosurround mode on their lowest end models while Onkyo has not.
