Not a refund, but they give you the difference back in store credit. You just need to use the customer service chat box on the website and provide your order number.

Recently purchased at 550$ does Adorama refund the difference?

Hmmmm I have a Denon 2200x, about to grab a new tv and would like to upgrade receiver for eARC, but wondering if I should snag this or hold out for something with preouts so I can add an external 2 channel amp for music listening. I run an old Energy RC system and feel like more power/higher volumes pulls detail out.

I finally bit the bullet on the Onkyo 7.2 a couple years ago as my old one in the den finally went bad and the 9.2 models were 3-5x the cost. Have the Klipsch 5.1.2 box speaker setup from costco and it sounds great, even if I ended up not fully using the speakers. The cost to go from a 7.2 to 9.2 receiver though was just a bit massive, particularly when it's for the den and not the main TV room. Hopefully this is a trend where the price jump from 7.2 to 9.2 starts to crumble.
The 505 model adds some extra power (20wpc) and a full set of pre outs to allow for the use of external amps. If that interests you now or in the future then the 505 is a worthwhile upgrade.

Have a 5.1 system with excellent paradigm speakers/sub. Do I need pioneer Elite VSX-LX505 or will 305 do? Not really able to decipher the differences between the 2 receivers. Both are on sale and difference is only $120 so money is not the issue but if I buy LX505, am I buying something I don't need/use?
