I would rather pay 50$ extra and get the lenevo with latest gen i3-1315U + backlit keyboard. Only downside is RAM is not upgradable.

Does it come with Windows 11 S because of hardware limitations? I feel like an equivalent AMD processor would be able to run the full Windows 11 just fine...

touch IPS panel VS non-touch TN panel.
However, performance-wise, the Micro Center deal is much better with 6 cores/12 threads.

Hard pass for the 8 GB of memory. IMO, need 16 GB of memory minimum for Windows 11 to have a satisfactory experience. Apparently, the memory is not upgradeable.

That's good. But not everyone feels comfortable taking a laptop apart. Every manufacturer should offer the option to increase the memory to 16 GB for $50 or $70. I'd rather just find a deal for a laptop that already has the 16 GB with a fair price considering the other specs. That saves my the time for the install and the unlikely chance that the memory I ordered is defective.
