Worth contacting Bitdefender support. I did the same thing last Black Friday, had a 5 device Total Security license and upgraded to Family. They essentially canceled my 5 device plan and generated a 15 device license key with a proportional length of time for me to add when I wanted too.

Depends on what you want or need. From a purely device protection capability Bitdefender is better at defending against malware. But if you have need of an unlimited VPN then AVG might be slightly more valuable to you.

Most antivirus including Norton are cheaper if you buy them using license keys vs on auto renewal directly from the vender.

Anyone know how long the Bitdefender codes last for? I'm pondering on whether or not I should just buy a Plus 1 Year sub for $12 or buy a 2 Year Internet Security for $15 and wait out the 256 days I have left on my current sub.

What is your current sub? If it's already with Bitdefender you can stack up to 5 years as long as it's an identical package, ie 256 days of Total Security 5 device, your can stack up to 2 2 Year 5 device licenses on top. You just can't mix and match. I've had luck in the past contacting Bitdefender support when I upgraded from the 5 device to Family, they converted my remaining 5 device license into a new 15 device key obviously with some reduction in validity time.

Also be aware that Antivirus Plus and Internet Security only installs on Windows, Total Security (Including Family) allows installs on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.

I have the Antivirus Plus plan. Looking to get Bitdefender Internet Security since its 2 years for $15.

Antivirus Plus is also on sale but its $11 for one year. I honestly don't care for the use of other devices. I only really care for the value. And extra $4 for one year seems like the obvious choice but not so clear when I already have nearly a year left on my current subscription.
