I have both. Both are good with some differences. The Kreg clamp is much better, the Milescraft clamp doesn't open wide enough. Milescraft uses Torx screws and bits, I prefer them over the square drive Kreg screws and bits. Other than that, they're both good jigs that work well. Can't tell much difference in the jigs or drill bits.

I have a kreg just like this but could use a second jig.
How does this compare to kreg?

After years of wanting a Kreg system because everyone says it's the best, i bought this instead. I'm not building cabinets and i don't need everything to be perfect. I just want to hide some screws on my DIY projects. I got this one because unlike others it comes with a clamp and i can move the jig around, the difference between screws is irrelevant becuase once i run out with what came in the kit, i'll be at the local hardware store grabbing what i need.
For this price, just buy the Kreg K4 system as much as the lever behind the clamp is a dumb design, there's less clamping to do. I don't mind this brand for other things but $30 for it seems a bit overpriced.
If only Porter-Cable kept making their awesome Jig that's far superior than the current Kreg system :\ I only buy their pocket hole screws as Kreg's cheap plastic with their so-called durable steel embedded system is overpriced also. Even had an argument with their customer service because they came out with that Philips + square screws people were complaining about. I don't see them around any more either
