If you are looking for a cheap 43-in 4K computer monitor, this is the TV deal for you. I've been using it 40 hours a week since they start of the pandemic for work and it's been going strong. With other cheap 4K TVs you might not know if can display 4:4:4 chroma subtext properly, this one can. Never connected it to the Internet, I'm sure it performs similar to other smart TVs in this price range.

Not a huge discount but these 4k 43" don't often get big discounts. I bought a Westinghouse 43 4k for $6 cheaper, didn't open it yet. Would rather have this tcl.

I need a 43 for where it's going. Can't be bigger, don't want a cheaper 40", and would prefer the 43". This is the winner for my situation.

Thanks OP

I bought a refurbished one for $125, seller on Walmart.com was unknown to me but I figured Walmart will take the return if it comes to that. Deal disappeared before I could post. I'll definitely will have to try it out make sure it's an acceptable image.

Yeah my son's TCL Google TV is garbage. The screen looks good but the smart part of it is not good

It was the same, 43S451. The seller was VIPOUTLET (on the walmart.com market place).

I've seen 43" 4 series tcl tvs in $100-140 range. Unless you really need a tv at this size, id wait. These are a good size for portability when you mount it on a mobile tv cart. Have a tcl roku and tcl android in this size, both purchases from target previously

How does this compare with the Costco TCL q570f, aside from that being a fire tv? The tcl seems to support vrr (pointless since it's a60hz panel), but it would seem that at least the electronics on that one would be newer. It's on sale for 189, so for $10 more.

Walmart is scam. Don't take shipping options they will not delivery. At delivery date they said delivered but nothing will you received. If asked for refund they will say will start investigation after 48 hours. So, basically they don't have stock and they just wanted you to buy other products in deal time.

Is anyone able to compare this one to the TCL 43S433? A 43" television is perfect for my needs right now so I want to make sure I get a good one. Thanks!

Does anyone have a strong preference between this 4-Series TCL, and the S-Class TCL? Looks like the S-Class has a few more Dolby audio/video features that I don't care about, and not much else of interest:

https://www.tcl.com/us/en/product...-tv-43s451

rtings seems to suggest that the 4-Series actually has a slightly better picture (brightness, contrast, uniformity), but is worse at removing compression artifacts.

fwiw - my intended use case is as a screen to stream local content from my server, in the exercise room while trying not to get bored stupid working out. So I don't care about HDR or Dolby-whatever. (Compression artifacts could be a bummer, though.)
