Mine order is still "Awaiting Shipment". Hope they still have stock to ship.

Anyhow, I've just realized that LG has 10% discount for students and teachers. If that works for anyone when this or another LG deal comes back: BankofAmerica Card holder 10% CB + Eb 10% CB + Student/Teacher 10% discount.

Got mine yesterday and it's a dud. Have the same issue as some of the Amazon reviewers. The bottom few rows of pixels are cutoff and so on Windows 10, the underline at the bottom (under app icon) that shows which of the apps that are pinned to your taskbar are open doesn't show up.

I donot have this issue. Only problem is to use pbp mode . Did you connect two computers?

Nope. Just one computer connected. The "underline" showing active applications is actually there, but you have to look at it at eye level. If you have a normal ergonomic setup where your eye level is at the middle to top 1/3rd of the monitor, you can't see that line under the icon. I'm not sure if it's due to extremely poor vertical viewing angles or the bezel is not consistently aligned properly in some units. Either way, that's a huge disappointment for me as this was a good price.

Right now I understand your point, I cannot see the underline if the top edge of monitor is under my nose.
I set the size of text apps and other items 200 in display settings.

I tried cancelling the order I placed directly through LG, but they said they couldn't because it's too far along the processing stage. It's also showing back in stock today with free expedited shipping at $249.99, so I bet most will ship today if bought directly from LG.

I hope so...I saw they were back in stock as well. I sent them an email earlier to get an ETA for my order, status showing "awaiting shipment" like someone else mentioned.

I just emailed them about my order a little after midnight....I never got a a response, nor have I received an email with shipping/tracking information; but I just got a text saying my order is out for delivery I'll take it 😅

Edit: I just saw the tracking info, looks like FedEx is delivering, and it just shows label created even though text from LG states it's out for delivery...If it's not a dud, might as well be now 😑

Got this monitor from this deal. It's a fantastic monitor for the price, and dare I say even @ $250 it's a good monitor. You need to understand that it's a VA panel and be good with the pros & cons of that (again, keeping the price in mind). Besides that, which isn't really a con just something to understand about the technology, here are my pros & cons, cons first:

Cons:
  • very basic design, a no-frills build, just has two HDMI & one DP on the back and that's it. I really wish it had two DP and one HDMI instead, getting crap refresh rate over HDMI from an M1 Mac Mini, and I want to keep the Windows gaming PC on DP.
  • stand isn't height adjustable. this is actually pretty big, if it were staying on my desk as my primary I'd put it on an arm/adjustable stand, due to size it needs to be at just the right height to look optimal, and I can't raise my entire standup desk because my arms/wrists/fingers would no longer be properly positioned
  • back to the standup desk, the power adapter cable is too short, I can't raise my desk to standup height; if I were keeping it as my primary I'd need to fix this with either an extender, or mounting the power strip to the underside of the desk
  • 1 year warranty — chances are tho, if it works fine for a year, it will probably last for a good while longer
Pros:
  • text is nice and sharp, excellent for productivity! I'm actually impressed (for the third time, keeping the price point in mind), on both macOS & Windows 11 it looks great! I could see myself working on this all day w/o issue. I'm almost sad it will be replaced on my desk by a AW3423DWF, I don't expect the OLED to be this sharp for productivity
  • 1800R seems spot on for this size, just right!
  • it runs well @ 160Hz, did some gaming sessions, including Destiny 2 (Iron Banner!) and it held up well. I would not use a VA screen if gaming was my main use case, but if you're primarily doing productivity/coding and also game, it works well enough. for the price, it's great
  • it looks great in my dimly-lit room. I prefer a darker environment for both work and play, so not sure how it would do in a brighter environment, but it looks really good for me.
  • the LG menus and joystick work well — if you've ever used it before, you'll be right at home. I love the simplicity.
  • external power supply. this is a pet peeve, but I like not to have an additional heat source inside the monitor, which also make it simple to replace in the unlikely case of failure. a small point, but one I wish my OLED had (it doesn't — all AlienWare monitors, as well as Dell, seem to have the power supply inside). given the short 1 year warranty, this is even more important to me.

All in all, a nice monitor at this sale price point, well built, focusing the build budget where it matters — good performance, solid build. Would buy again even @ $250, I tried the Monoprice Curved 35" VA monitor (that was even more expensive — I believe when I tried it I paid $280+tax) and it pales in comparison to this monitor.

Do you know if the monitor can use pbp? I donot know how to show two laptops in the screen at same time. I put the question in lg website, no response yet.
