I like that they added an extra lip all around each tray for what seems to be this purpose.
Check your box when you open it and don't be an idiot like me.

For my use case, this approach is better than having it all in a portable tool case that weighs a gob.

Socket wise this set is a little less than the 192
here is the difference I saw
1/4 deep sockets This set skips 5/32 while 192 set skips 7/32
3 extension instead of 9. (extension from this set is not enough for spark plug change, I could recommend buying the extension set from HF for $10 (with coupon code 72610488) if you going to work on spark plug change)
https://www.harborfreig
No increase or decrease socket size vs 192 set having 3 (I actually a bit annoyed that the 192 set doesn't have a 3/8 to 1/2 increase socket, I was going to grab an increase/decrease set from HF for $5 https://www.harborfreig
No Hex or Torx bit set.
If you need those
there is a LEXIVON Trox socket set for $16 (https://a.co/d/htvp2vO).
The Hex socket set doesn't have any good deals so far. if you don't need it immediately then you can wait for the LEXIVON hex socket set on sale (https://a.co/d/c7pSrIC)
Those two sets will give more complete hex and torx sets than the 192 set have
No 1/4 Universal Joint.
1 spark plug vs 3 spark plug. the 5/8 sparkplug is enough for most car changes.
then it is down to whether you are going to keep your set in the tool chest/cart or not.
if you are going to put it into a tool chest/cart then this set is perfect since it comes with trays. if not maybe 192 is a better storage option for you since the set is in molded case.
so this set isn't perfect, you will probably invest $5-60 dollar more to have everything depending on your needs. So the real factor is do you prefer this set in a tool chest or in a molded case.
We understand that the 1/4" ratchet in your tool-set is broken out of the box. Unfortunately, we do not process replacements for eBay orders. Returning the item will result to a full refund.
Please let us know if you would like to proceed.
If we can be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
CPO Customer Care
Realistically for the price I paid I got my money's worth regardless, but I think these may be sets may be customer returns given the condition of mine and that of some others.
Any advice on getting a warranty replacement for my broken ratchet would be appreciated.
The three ratchet trays fit perfectly and SNUGLY into the open tote as shown here: https://imgur.com/a/mpUDcGL
So snugly, that it'll be hard to remove the bottom tray when I want to.
Hoping that all three will fit that snugly into a Toughsystem (not Toughsystem 2.0) large tool box.
As Texfinn said, I didn't even need these, but what a bargain. Damned Slickdeal effect.
A couple downsides: 1) Packaging could use improvement. The box stayed intact but all the sockets were strewn around all over the place. 2) I'll need to keep my full standard and metric wrench sets - only includes a very basic set of wrenches. 3) Will need to find drawers or a container to store this in. I have a couple nice Craftsman old school tool boxes, but they won't fit. I'd prefer drawers but might just bite the bullet and get the Dewalt box.
Supposedly these tools have a lifetime warranty, but I went to the DeWalt website and couldn't readily see how to register my purchase or get a replacement ratchet.

you can call them, submit an online form or talk in chat. I got my broken measuring tape replaced by just talk to support in chat.
