Then this one has a specialty adapter that lets you charge DeWalt batteries with it and also charge other devices with your battery.
I'd say $55 is pretty fair for that.
That being said, I'd really like to just buy the adapter (which I agree is pretty cheap to make) and use my existing 100w USB-C chargers.

I can drive my gas guzzling 4x4 as far as I want with a quick fill up. To be fair, I usually only make 1000 miles a day before I have to stop and recharge my battery.
It can also be seen in the DeWalt FlexVolt system which operates at both 60V and 20V, and can be rated in either one, which causes no end of confusion in deal discussions here. You are not the only one unclear on the concept, and DeWalts intentionally confusing marketing doesn't help. Note the DeWalt is really 56V/18V at operating current but they rate them at 'Max' so it sounds like 'more.'
Probably wait a few days for $50
If you do still want this, I got Home Depot to price match a Dewalt authorized retailer that had it for 60. They actually have a meet and beat deal, so they dropped it to 55 or so plus tax. I then used my Cashapp Card to pay, which currently has 5 percent off Home Depot purchases up to 100 dollars. Left the store with it for 54 bucks.
