I'll try tomorrow with my One Plus plan. I already have 8 lines. I doubt this will work though...
yes please I have the same and am interested...the BAN can go above but I am scared to go above 8 for lines (maybe watches, etc.) ... wonder if we can also do the $10 hotspot in a different SD forum
After a year of taking part of this free line offer, you can move a paid line out and then replace the "free line" with the paid one. Depending on which rate plan you got, you can be saving up to $45 a month.

If you have insider discount, especially the old insider, and multiple free lines, moving to 9+ will make your plan significantly cheaper
Did this last time and they lied to me and I ended up with a paid line which I had to cancel. Super annoying. Scared to try this again.
Same! I had a free line then they removed the credit. Became a paid line and I had to call so many times and they rerouted me to "managers" but they said the promo never existed despite they can see my previous bills with the free line credit. They played dumb and tried to change my plan so I can get a different price despite I call to inquire about free line credit being removed. Left them for Verizon

Depending how many free lines you have you'd save money possibly adding a paid line and getting a free one on the BYGO deal going on if you can move to the 9-12 line plan. The credits for a free line(s) are more on the 9-12 plan. That goes for anyone on the One, One Plus, One Plus Promo plans, your goal is 9-12 lines.

If you get the buy one get one free line, I understand I can not cancel any lines for 12 months but, after 12 months is completed. Could I cancel the paid line of the buy one get one free line?

no, buy 1 get 1, you cancel you lost. In the past some people get away with it, but most tforce told me it is no longer the case.
I don't suppose they ever do a free data line? This is voice only according to title? I picked up an Apple Watch and would add that on if it didn't cost anything. Even $10/mo seems to much for a watch.
